Healing Alongside Our Clients :

How Leaders Show Up Differently As We Evolve

 with Janet Griffis, LMFT, LPC

Event Description  Janet Griffis, LMFT, LPC will lead our exploration into how our own therapy informs our relationships with our clients and our work. How have we evolved personally since we began as group leaders? What changes have we seen in our groups as a result? How do we continue to provide consistent and ethical care to our clients while we may be in the midst of our own deeply challenging work? How has your concept of the role of therapist changed over time? Attendees can share experiences and questions about how their personal healing informs their groups.

Information about the Presenter Janet Griffis is in private practice in Austin, serving individual, couples and group therapy clients. She is an AGPS Board Member and an active participant in the Austin therapy community at large. She specializes in relationships, family of origin and attachment trauma, addiction and eating disorders, divorce and blending families. Janet loves music and singing as well as mentoring new therapists in the Austin community.
