About Me
🌱 Loren Webb, (Intern) – LPC Counseling Intern
Supervised by Charity Rogers, MA, LPC-S, LCDC
Guided by compassion, grounded in acceptance.
With a background in education, mental health coaching, and over two decades of connecting with people as a hairdresser, I bring a relational, client-centered approach to healing work. Currently completing my Master’s in Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program, I’ve been counseling since May 2025 and have served as a Mental Health Coach since 2021.
Before entering the mental health field, I spent years in elementary and intermediate education with BISD, where I supported children and families with compassion and structure. My therapeutic work now spans children and adults, particularly those navigating ADHD, Autism, addiction, grief, and life transitions.
🧠 My Approach: Grounded in ACT & Lived Experience
I practice through the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which teaches us that healing doesn't come from avoiding pain—but from making space for it, learning to unhook from unhelpful thoughts, and taking steps toward what matters most.
Whether we’re working through grief, habits that no longer serve you, or the search for identity and purpose, I help clients:
Explore difficult thoughts with compassionate distance
Connect to the present moment with mindfulness
Clarify their values
Take small, meaningful actions toward healing
I also incorporate tools from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Recovery Planning, and optional spiritual integration—always tailored to your personal beliefs, needs, and goals.
Why I Do This Work
After 20+ years as a hairdresser, I began to feel a deep emptiness—despite the many conversations and connections I shared every day. I knew I had the capacity to do more. That quiet nudge eventually became a calling: to help others navigate pain, reconnect with purpose, and build a life of meaning—one person at a time.
Let’s Connect
Whether you're seeking support for grief, neurodiversity, life transitions, or something you can’t yet name—I’m here to walk beside you with presence, care, and curiosity.
