About Me
I am a native Texan who attended Texas State University for my Bachelor's in Sociology (2005) and my Master's in Social Work (2007.) I married my college sweetheart and we love to travel and see musicals together.
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I started inpatient at Seton Shoal Creek working with adults on both the mental health and substance abuse units. I moved to the IOP at Seton in 2011. Most of my experience there has been running the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program group which is a general mental health IOP. I had a short stint in the Generations IOP for older adults. In 2018, I got trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and ran the Seton Restore IOP for 2 years. Most recently I have gotten intensive training in RO DBT and facilitated an RO IOP group.
After 14.5 years with Seton, I decided to set off on my own into the world of private practice. I was with a group practice for 3 years before going completely on my own. My areas of expertise are sleep issues, RODBT, PTSD, OCD, and chronic pain.
